A naturally curious being, Chia is an ace at all things exploration & adventure. Estranged from their family due to a freak accident, they've found themselves travelling the galaxy in hopes of becoming a healer, treating & preventing intergalactic diseases and infections.
Chia travels with a worn down satchel that contains all the handmade remedies and books full of writing & research from all the planets she's explored. Despite her constant rambles about dreams of becoming a doctor; a healer... his heart seems to lie elsewhere.

Appearance
Chia is an incredibly tall & incredibly wide alien. A lot of people consider him a 'gentle giant'. She is a Muranian, a race of alien that are most well-known for their purple skin that can withstand great amounts of damage. This is because their skin is made up of 70-80% meteorite. He is missing his arm from the shoulder, a large scar across the stump; including some faded ones all around the site.
Chia's hair is quite short, just barely grazing their shoulders. The tips of Chia's hair turn brown the further down they are, and most of the hair on the back of her head is incredibly short & patchy, a series of large bald spots all over. From the front, it is hard to tell Chia is missing any hair at all.
Chia has two horns atop of their head, one small and pointy; and the other is chipped near the root.
The outfit she wears is incredibly worn; obvious from the frayed ends of their shorts and the way her shirt doesn't fit, muscles bulging at the arm and the length of the shirt being (mostly) tucked into his shorts. The right arm of Chia's shirt has been cut off, revealing his missing arm. She has an equally-worn bag she wears around his shoulder, strapped securely with a brown band fit to his shoulder.
Pre-Exile

Before Chia was exiled off of Cometis, his appearance was greatly different.
Chia's hair was much fuller & longer, void of the bald spots he currently has. His hair went past their shoulders to around their lower forearm. The horns she currently has were not there at all; and he did not wear clothes.
Personality
Despite the hardship of his earlier life; Chia is an outwardly optimistic— though nervous— fellow (a common phrase Chia uses when addressing other people), looking to make connections wherever they can. Even before her exile, she was incredibly observant, looking to jot down whatever she can into the journals and books he carries around to research.
Research is something Chia is most proud of. Any new observation he makes on his travels, is written down into the series of citations and paragraphs of— barely cohesive— information she's learned over her years of travel. With those years of travel, Chia was able to hone his social skills into something he could be proud of; he may not be talkative, but she has made many good friendships over time.
Though sometimes nervous to approach others and make friends, Chia loves to help & feels best when he is able to provide assistance to others. Wether this is through medical help, or carrying something heavy for someone who may be unable to, or just a listening ear; Chia always tries.
Backstory
Chia's memory of her past is hazy. Wether it is from the trauma, or because he genuinely can't remember, a lot of the details seemed to slip away from them.
She remembers the warmth of her youth; the way his entire community felt like one family. "It takes a village", Chia knows as a human saying, seemed to apply to their childhood. When Chia was young, he did not have a name. In fact, for most of her life; she was nameless, much like the rest of the Muranians they knew. They would communicate through eye contact & speech to attract another's attention.

Abilities
Shielding & Elk-like state
- Due to Chia's race, he is exceptionally good at shielding others/objects from damage. Most (if not all) Muranian's backs are the strongest parts of their skin; which means Chia is incredibly tough. She can withstand extreme amounts of brute-force damage, scratches, etc.
- An ability Chia fears, thetrigger that causes Chia to transform is unknown. He becomes a tall, 8-9 foot elk-like monster who is blinded by an unfathomable rage. This state of mind, Chia seems to react strongly to pain.
Weaknesses
- Though Chia can handle extreme cold temperatures due to living most of his life on a planet with extremely low temperatures, this resulted in an extreme weakness to heat. The hotter it becomes, the worse the side effects. Moderate heat causes joint pains, sluggishness, and loss of focus. Extreme heat can be debilitating.
